Director of SMART START for close to a decade, a licensed Early Education and Care Educator/Early Childhood Specialist and parent advocate. She brings to SMART START 30+ years of experience nurturing, educating and enriching children through a variety of environments such as: childcare, preschool, kindergarten, elementary, home education, extended day programs, extracurricular classes and activity enrichment. Ms. Mary incorporates her Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and vast training into all that she does at SMART START. Some being but not limited to: Montessori, Waldorf, Reggio Emilio, Nature Based, Child Led Curriculum, Art Therapy and STEM. Mary is also a proud mother to four adult children. 

A licensed Early Education and care educator and one of SMART START'S beloved assets. Miss Francesca obtained her Masters Degree with honors in Educational Leadership and Policy Development from Boston College's Lynch School of Education and Human Development. Prior to BC, she graduated from Merrimack College with degrees in both Education and Psychology. Along with her extensive education and training, Miss Francesca brings her warm, caring nature in which all of our students adore. Miss Francesca provides exceptional care, teaching and enrichment for all the children attending SMART START. Her many years of education, experience and talents are evident in all that she does. 

Miss Maria has been a volunteer at SMART START since a little girl. Now 18, Maria is an official licensed Early Education & Care assistant and integral part of SMART START.  Maria is an enthusiastic, caring, delightful young lady. She brings her amicable personality and athletic, artistic and other advantageous abilities to our preschool. Maria is also an East Celebrity Elite athlete alum and is coaching ECE's "Baby Bomb" competitive team, "Tiny Pre-Team" and local youth clinics. Maria is currently an undergraduate student at Merrimack College studying Human Development. In addition, she is an athlete on the college's competitive cheerleading  team.
