SMART START is the most amazing preschool and we are beyond grateful that Ms. Mary & Miss Francesca came into our lives 7 years ago. All 3 of my daughters have attended and my youngest is currently attending! They have become like "family" to us! The communication is superb. We always know what to expect, current happenings and or course, we all absolutely love receiving pictures from the day! Knowing that my daughter is in the best hands, thriving in an enriched environment, making friends, learning life skills and more makes me so happy. She always looks forward to her school day and I do too! SMART START offers an outstanding curriculum with a big focus on STEAM and nature-based learning, as well as on-site field trips and community giving. My family can't recommend SMART START and their kind & devoted teachers enough!
We Absolutely love SMART START! Both our daughter and son attend four days a week and they couldn't be happier. Mary, Francesca & Maria are fantastic teachers and caregivers. They put so much effort into daily lessons and activities, and truly care about our children's development. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that our children are in such good hands at the beginning of their education.
My two daughters have been attending SMART START and it's been the best experience for them, and for me as a parent. My oldest used to have a lot of separation anxiety when leaving me but after a few days here, she kept asking when she could go back. No more anxiety! She can't wait to go. I think it helps that it is a very comfortable "family" feeling there. Both of my girls are thriving, they have learned so much already in the short time they have been there. The way they learn through crafts, baking, cooking, outdoor adventures, etc... makes it so much fun for them. They love the relationships they have made and talk about their friends and teachers all the time. I know they are so well taken care of, loved, and learning so much when I drop them off. It's the best feeling for a parent. I can't recommend SMART START enough! Mary & Francesca are incredible!
My two girls (3 & 5) had the BEST summer partaking in the SMART START summer camp program! They were well cared for, constantly engaged, kept safe and educated beyond anything I would have imagined! We are sad that summer went by so quick but so thankful for this experience and look forward to reconnecting w/ the SMART START programs soon!
SMART START is a very fun, safe and nurturing environment for the kids to learn. My son practically leaps out of my arms each morning I drop him off. I find this comforting knowing he trusts and enjoys being there with the other kids. Mary does an endless list of activities each day that encourages and develops creative minds, motor skills, independence, and so much more! So grateful to have found SMART START!

I have had the opportunity to visit this wonderful preschool last year, and this year to offer oral health presentations as part of our dental practice community outreach programs during National Children's Dental Health Month. During my time at the preschool, I have witnessed the amazing educational, social, language and hands-on components this school puts together on a daily basis. The children work in an amazing variety of topics that are reinforced by professionals visits. Congratulations on such an innovative curriculum!
My Daughter has attended SMART START for over a year and I could not rave more about the quality of care and education they provide. I work in education and have continually been blown away by how Mary and Francesca create their curriculum and structure their daily/ monthly schedule. My daughter is meeting every milestone early and I thank Smart Start for that. I plan on sending my youngest there, as soon as she is able. Leaving your child in another persons care can be scary but I have never worried about her while she is with Mary and Francesca. My daughter loves it there, and is excited to go to school everyday!
Our daughter goes to SMART START and we couldn't be happier. Mary is amazing with the kids and they always are doing activities that help with their development.

I can't say enough about how much we adore SMART START! Our daughter started attending 10 months ago, and she LOVES going there to the point that she literally cheers when we tell her it's a "school day." Mary & Francesca put so much thought and effort into planning their curriculum and daily activities. They are very hands-on and teach the kids so many social/emotional and life skills in addition to their unique approach to "regular" preschool teachings. They really care about the students, their development and their families. One of my favorite things is that we receive pictures from them every day she is there, and our entire family (and sometimes coworkers) love seeing them! I could go on and on! We are so grateful we found such an environment for our daughter.
20+ years ago Mary owned another preschool called Tiny Tots. I was privileged to be cared for by her. My family so adored her that we have always kept in touch all these years. I have watched her raise her beautiful children and I have no doubt she cares for each of her SMART START kids just as much! I wouldn't hesitate to send my son to her if we were not states away. Mary is loving passionate, and committed to nurturing children in an environment that allows them to blossom to their fullest potential.
My daughter has been going to SMART START and she loves it! She is always so happy to go in and talks about all of the fun things she got to do and her little friends! Mary and Francesca are so good with kids, the program and activities they come up with are just amazing, and the atmosphere is so warm and family like. My daughter is really thriving there! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Mary! Knowing her personally, as well as professionally, has been a truly fortunate experience! Having had the opportunity to work with her in North Andover's Public Schools' after-school programs and seeing first hand her ability to care for and teach children was insightful and outstanding! I learned a tremendous amount from her and even use many of her techniques in my own teaching. Ms. Mary is warm and incredibly caring, creative and, enthusiastic. Her passion for children is truly inspiring! I am thrilled for her and SMART START!

I can't say enough amazing things about SMART START! My son has grown leaps and bounds since day 1. His increased confidence and vocabulary were the first things I noticed. Mary and Francesca's hands on approach to learning is incredible, he is learning so much when he thinks "playing with his friends" (his words, not mine)! The smile on his face in the daily pictures web receive is priceless. We truly made the best decision, for him and our family, to enroll at SMART START!

I'm so grateful we found SMART START! My daughter has learned so much since she started attending. Mary & Francesca have put together a really creative & educational curriculum and they also do an amazing job of keeping parents involved through their blog, monthly newsletters, and social media accounts. I highly recommend SMART START!
Mary has created such an incredible space for young kids to play and learn. Our daughter runs into school and doesn't even look back as she jumps right in, playing with toys and the other kids. Mary has a rich program for the kids that includes art projects and a variety of toys to facilitate learning. We have been surprised what our daughter has been able to do and what she has learned. Important for me has also been the continual communication to understand how our daughter has been during the day. We know she has been having a great time and is reluctant to leave at the end!
My daughter started going to SMART START thanks to my friend's recommendation, and now I could not wish for a better place for her. In the very beginning, I was worrying about how she will settle there because my daughter did not speak English at all. Mary and Francesca did a great job accommodating her. Now SMART START is her favorite place and she says "thank you for brining me to Miss Mary's & Miss Francesca's" when I pick her up. It means a lot to me. The program is amazing. Children learn new things every day, and they do it in a super fun and creative way. I'm so happy we have found SMART START and highly recommend it.

I feel so fortunate to have found SMART START. I always leave my son feeling confident that he is in the best possible place. He loves being there with Mary, Francesca and all his friends.
